Contributions to the RMC Research & Education Foundation support research and educational programs to improve and advance the concrete industry. As a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, contributions to the Foundation are fully tax deductible. Our Federal Tax ID number is 52-1680963.
Why Build an Endowment?
The vision is for the RMC Research & Education Foundation to be a lasting resource for funding industry research and education, both now and for future generations. An endowment insulates the Foundation from the inevitable fluctuations in the construction market, and allows us to make critical industry investments even when association and company budgets cannot. This allows us to stay on the cutting edge and capitalize on opportunities to innovate and advance the industry in both good times and bad, today and into the future.

In 2016, the Foundation was presented with a historic and unique opportunity. The Troesh Family Foundation has pledged up to $3M over five years, with a required 3:1 industry match. That is, we must raise $9M in order to fully leverage the $3M Troesh gift. The combined $12M fundraising goal, along with our current endowment, will fully fund the RMC Research & Education Foundation’s program spending at existing levels in perpetuity.
